It started in an attic.
In 1997, Chrissy and Rich started Habit in an attic. Five hundred square feet in Mesa. They were cutting hair between Costco checkout-line hours and figuring it out as they went.
They grew by selling furniture and cars. In 2008, a stylist left — and took a book of clients with her.
They were devastated for about a day.
